Agent for OES Linux and NSS

We currently have Backup Exec 10d for Windows with agents for NetWare.
We are currently looking at migrating the NSS volumes from NetWare to Novell's OES Linux.
 
We are also looking at upgrading the Windows Media Server to version 11d at some point.
 
Will version 10d RALUS client backup NSS on OES Linux?  Or do I need version 11d?  If I need the RALUS version 11d, can I use this with the older 10d Media Server, until we upgrade it?

Support for NSS on OES is not in 10d, you will need to upgrade to 11 for this.

The upgrade of Backup Exec to version 11 is a separate project.  Is it possible to use version 11 client with version 10 Media Server until we upgrade?  This will mean I can progress with the migration to OES project.
