The backup log shows the error

Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.

The event viewer shows "An unusal error was encountered while enumerating the contents of

The error in event viewer is about an hour after the backup started on the client machine.

Hi,

You could perform the following:

1) Reboot the target server to get rid of left out .VSP files

2) Configure Antivirus to exlude .VSP from scanning

3) check out the document: http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/268416.htm
