My company want to use Symantec backup and we use backup tape, so I have one question.

Do we need to use the 'BACKUP EXEC OPT LIBRARY EXPANSION WIN 1 DEVICE ONPREMISE STANDARD LICENSE' for backup tape?

What is the model of your tape/ ? and if it is a tape library, how many tape drive it have/?

If you have a stand-alone tape drive or tape libraries with one tape drive in them you don't need to buy a LEO licence.

However, if you have more than one tape drive in your tape libraries, then you need to buy one LEO licence for the second and subsequent tape drives.
