When selecting receipt folders for all mailboxes using wildcards (\\srv-name\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes*Top of Information StoreBoîte de réception*.*) on a microsoft exchange server, the graphical interface tell me the receipt folders are selected correctly for all mailboxes :

Receipt box is selected, Top of information store is partially selected, like server and microsoft exchange Mailboxes, but the mailbox itself is not selected

Running backup says OK, but jrnl tell me than :

Remarque : Ressource : "\\SRV-EXCH\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes" ne peut pas être reproduit. Tentative de sauvegarde de volumes directement depuis le volume source.

and nothing is backed up... Why ? How can I select the folder "receipt" under top of information store for all mailboxes using wildcards ?

Do you want to select only certain mailboxes, or do you want to back up the entire Information Store?

HI

Thanks for answer

I wan't to backup only parts of mailboxes each day, and container once a week. The problem is on select interface of BE for exchange

In fact there is a bug in select list on BE for exchange.
I'll try to explain correctly

If I use the text box to set selected folder (mailboxes) I'll say :
\\SRV-NAME\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes|*|Top of information Store|*.* /SUBDIR
(where * is for all users). The graphical interface show each mailboxe partialy selected, and when opening mailbox tree, we see that "Top of information Store" and all it's subfolders are selected, but ......

NOTHING WILL BE BACKED UP

Then if I select in text settin all mailboxes and exclude all subfolders differents than "Top of information Store" like that

\\SRV-NAME\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes|*.* /SUBDIR
\\SRV-NAME\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes|*|Finder|*.* /EXCLUDE /SUBDIR
\\SRV-NAME\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes|*|Free Busy Data|*.* /EXCLUDE /SUBDIR
\\SRV-NAME\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes|*|........ for all folder I don't want to backup,
data will be backup.

BUT IN THIS TWO CASES, GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION WILL BE EXACTLY THE SAME. IF YOU LOOK TO GRAPHICAL SELECT TOOLS? YOU CAN'T SAY IF DATA WILL OR WILL NOT BE BACKED UP
