I have a physical and virtual enviroment like most. The issues i am having are:
VM's that run Win 2003 that have the 2010 backup agent timeout on EqualLogic Snapshots. They usually have a VSS retryable error or show the backupexec agent provider running when it should not be. I tried the hotfixes and everything.
If you restart the VM and run a snapshop command it will usually work for a day or so then start to fail again.
If you remove the backup exec agent and run a snapshop command it will work and stay working.
VM's that are 2008 server have no issues what so ever.
Has anyone defeated this issue? Should I not be running backups and snapshots?
