BE 2012 sp2 for Hyper-v

Hi all.

We upgraded to SP2 on our BE 2012 box and pushed out the agents

However i have noticed that that i only get the option to backup the vhd in the CSV's, but my jobs were configured to backup the VM's prior.

Is this a change that is SP2 or have i simply lost a Hyper-v option on my backup job?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the agent for Hpyer-v

I have reinstalled the Agent, and rebooted both Hyper-V nodes.

I have restarted the BE server as well, but so far no joy. For some reason the Hyper-V HA machines option isnt there.

has BE changed and removed it?

Hi

Managed to get this working again.

I removed all the old maintenance contract licenses from the system (from last year) and then it started to work.

not sure why an old maintenance license would prevent the agent from working, as the new one was installed.
