BE Agent on Windows Server 2012 RC

Hi all.

I need to install Backup exec agent on this machine for testing some features in Windows Server 2012 RC.  When i start installing i receive warning aboute backup exec does not compatible with windows 2012 and after this i receive a error

Any idead how to install BE agent to windows server 2012 ?

Win 2012 is not yet compatiable with any version of Backup Exec.

Check the compatibility list of BE 2012.

As it is not compatible, you can not do the installation on it. No other workarounds as far as i know....

I knew that BE 2012 not compatible with Windows Server 2012 RC. But there are not much difference from windows server 2008. For exemple most drivers and programs for server 2008 work normal in 2012. I don't plan to user 2012 RC for prodcution. I only need to install agent and make some restore jobs.

The only workaround , at  this moment is to redirect the restore to a server which is compatible and then move the the data to the windows Server 2012. It would be definately supported in furture but at the moment it is not supported .

I believe Backup Exec 2012 R2 (Name is still subject to change) will support the new version of Windows
