I want to set up jobs as follows, using policies and templates:
Friday
Full file server & SQL backup, with advanced open file
followed by
Full Exchange 2003 backup, WHITHOUT advanced open file (as this is required for using recovery storage groups in Exch 2003)
Mon-Thurs
Incremental file server & SQL, with advanced open file
followed by
Incremental Exchange 2003 backup, WITHOUT advanced open file
As far as I can make out, this can't be done using the policy system introduced in BE 10, as the two templates in the policy require DIFFERENT selection sets. Policies in BE10 only support a single selection set per policy, which frankly makes them completely useless and redundant.
Am I wrong? I hope so. Please tell me how I do this so that if the first job over-runs it doesn't stop the second job starting because it's missed it's run time window.
