BE11d - Job Rate Drops During Backup

Using a Fibre Channel connection - QLogic QLA2340

IBM LTO 1 - Tape Drive - FC

Backup starts at 500MB/min, slowly drops to 106MB/min in 7 minutes. 545MB Backup

Verify only runs at 2MB/min

My drive is rated at 1200MB/min.

All I can say is that you're not alone. After Hotfix 14 we started having the same problem and are hoping that the issue they do recognize with HF14 with the slow duplicate jobs will also fix our problem. If not...
