Scenario:
Windows 2003 Server with Backup Exec V12 R1364 (SP1, Hotfix 304179).
We have our Exchange backups working on BE V12 but when testing the restore function we get the following error message:
Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe000fe30 - A communications failure has occurred. Final error category: Server Errors
V-79-57344-65072 - Connection to the restore target has been lost. Operation canceled.
On our Windows 2003 Exchange server we have created RSG and added the database we are testing. This should be a "straight forward" restore to the RSG on our Exchange Server and then we can pick and choose what we want to restore from there. We don't have GRT or continous protections set-up.
We've searched the net for the above errors, followed the advice give but at just over 4minutes the restore job fails.
Any advice/insight into this problem would be gratefully received.
