BE2010 - Exchange 2010 problem

Bringing up the selection list and running a credential test I get the following error:

"Backup Exec could not back up the Exchange database because it could not find a healthy copy of the database"

I have a single database - not running any Database Availability Groups.. so this problem perplexes me.

The backup machine is a 2008 R2 Server.. The email has the agent loaded on it.

Any ideas?

Simple solution.  The account used for the backups didn't have rights...

You need to add the account to the "organizational management" role in RBAC user editor..

After this it worked perfectly!

I have exactly the same problem and the user accounts i am testing with, is member of "organizational management" role in RBAC.

If i run the backup job anyway, i get the following error:
Final error: 0xe0000380 - Backup Exec attempted to back up an Exchange database according to the job settings. The database was not found in the Database Availability Group (DAG), however. Update the selection list and run the job again.
Final error category: Resource Errors
