BE2014 Performance Drop

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else has run into this

After upgrading from BE2012SP4, I've noticed that all of our backups are about 15-25% slower. This is to an LTO6 library over a gigabit network. The most noticeable performance impact has been our file server backups, which are millions of small files (1MB Avg.)

The backup environment hasn't changed at all aside from the BE upgrade

Large number of small files normally gives poor performance.  What backup method are you using?  If it is the archive bit method, try using the modified time method.
