BE9.1 move to another Server SQL 2000

hello,
i d like to move a BE9.1 Installation to another Server, leaving the SQL 2000 Backup Exec database on the old server

My problem is: i can�t select between SQL und MSDE at the Installation on the new Server the Option doesn�t apear!
(this is since i installed BE9.1 with MSDE for testing, i was able to uninstall BE without any Problems)

My questions:

-does BE work by only selecting the SQL Database from the old Server (i need the Job Lists)

-How can i tell BE which SQL Database to use?

As I recall BE9.1 needs its database on the same sever BE is installed. Separating BE and its database is not possible. I thought BE10.0 might be able to do this but I am not sure. Check the BE knowledgebase on this.
