BESERVER.EXE high CPU usage

Backup Exec was running for three solid weeks without a hitch. Then, beserver.exe starts chewing up 25% to 35% CPU time continuously. I followed this to resolve: http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/287469.htm but no such luck Robot Sad

 Any other ideas?

Hi Richard,

This problem could be cause if the Microsoft report Viewer is not installed property or it got corrupted.  I will suggest you to try first to repair the install of the MS Report Viewer.  If this does not work, the uninstall and reinstall the MS Report Viewer.

To repair or reinstall the MS Report Viewer from the Backup Exec install CD or download, go to the folder "\winnt\install\reportviewer\" and launch the executable reportviewer.exe.  If is installed, this should give you the options to repair or uninstall.
