Dear Members,
we have updated on weekend (27. April 2008) a simple BE Installation (no MS Exchange, no MS SQL).
A Sybase SQL Database is running.
Backups are done on RDX (40 GB) Media.
Since the updates, there appears the following error:
Pre Commands fail to run during Backup Job
So the backup job is not started.
Ok, we have nothing changed (only done updates through LiveUpdate).
There is also no remote agent (only 1 single server).
Thats the batch (runs for over 12 months without problems):
del E:\VERITAS\B2D\*.bkf
net stop "ASANYs_LXDBSRV"
First line cleans the old bkf file on the RDX media.
Second line stops the Sybase SQL Database.
After the backup job the Sybase SQL Database is start again (net start "ASANYs_LXDBSRV").
Hope someone have a idea, knows anything or open my eyes.
