BEX User account differences

Using BEX 12 for Windows Servers Version 12.0 Rev 1364 on WinXPP to backup several servers (file and sql Win2003, SQL2005)

We have difficulty between 2 user accounts. Both are domain admin accounts in AD, local administrators group on XP machine. Yet one seems to have not all functions on BEX (eg erasing media and others).

Is there a definition or user account that we have not got right between the 2 accounts? The BEX install account works fine, the other seems to have not quite enough authority (but should have). Does the BEX db need more power one user has but not the other?

Any ideas?

The main account used is the backup exec service account. (BESA). you configure additional login account if you want the backjup to run with a specific account credentails.
