BKUPEXEC-instance msdb suspect

The msdb-database installed on the BE SQL-instance "BKUPEXEC" is marked "Suspect". This results in failed database dump jobs that is performed by BE. We do not have a backup of the database. Does it contain any userspecific data, and how do I restore the database?

Where have you chosen to install Backup Exec? On an existing SQL instance or MSDE?


Are you able to start the services?

It is installed on a MSDE-engine, the on installed by the BE installation (SERVER\BKUPEXEC).

Everything works fine except for the internal database maintenance, se error:

"Summary of database maintenance activity:


Maintenance has failed: 10, Dump database failed
Total elapsed time: 00:00:07"

Please run a repair Install of the Application from add remove Programs and let us know if that helps.
