BU Exec 12.5 Superloader 3 jobs "Running" no action

I'm trying to use a Quantum AutoLoader with SuperLoader23 / DLT-V4 with Dell PowerEdge 1900 and Dell OEM Adapter 39302a SCSI card under Back Up Exec 12.5 and Windows 2003 Server.

I finally have the robotic labrary with the drive showing up correctly in the devices tab and configure the robotic library. Jobs show as running but nothing happens, the adamm.log has this error after the hardware discovery section.

[3460] 02/13/09 01:18:15.969 PvlDrive::OpenHandle() from device number
       Drive = 1013 "QUANTUM 1"
       DeviceName = \\.\Tape0
       PrimaryName = \\.\Tape0
       SecondaryName = \\?\scsi#sequential&ven_quantum&prod_dlt-v4&rev_0a00#6&200835a7&0&000200#{53f5630b-b6bf-11d0-94f2-00a0c91efb8b}
       ERROR = 0x00000006 (ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE)

The autoloader was working fine on an older Windows 2000 server with Bacj Up Exec 10D.

I have unistalled a reinstalled all drivers with Tapeinst.exe utility.

Applied up to date tape and autoloader firmwares

Updated scsi driver for Dell 39320-A

Applied alll Symatec Live update patches,hotfixes and tape driver updates.

Done a Repair Install of BackUp Exec.

Any suggestions?  I'm starting to loose sleep over this one . . .

Hi there,
I was on the Symantec support site and saw you were having the same problems I had with BEWS. I am getting the same messages of error 0x00000006 (Error_Invalid_Handle) and have tried the same fixes with the drivers etc. Were you able to find a resolution? This is truly maddening.

Thanks for your time,

Daniel Price
