BUEXEX12 and Exabyte VXA-3 PacketLoader

I have a Exabyte VXA 1U/10 PacketLoader drive that shows firmware level VXA-3  3205 in the information display.

The program is unable to fully communicate with my drive. The software does list the drive as an installed device, and even recognizes all the tapes in the slots. However, the jobs I create keep timing out.....  any one have some advice for me?

Were you able to solve this issue? I have a similar situation, but my library has a VXA-2 drive. Symptoms are just like the one you describe here, software sees the library, drive and tapes but I have communication problems with the drive.

Hardware wise, the server sees both pieces when booting so I would discard scsi issues. I updated the scsi controller driver as well.
