Back Up Exec, Database Problems

Stacey_McDonald

we have recently installing back up exec on one of our servers, but for some reason are unable to ge tthe services associated with it to run, on start up or otherwise.
when trying to start the device and media service, i am given the error that the database does not exist, yet i am certain it does.
does anyone know how to re-assoctiate the db with backup exec, as obviously any services depeding on this will not run until this does.edited by:

Hello,

Can you please mention the exact error message.

Also, what is the exact version and the build of Backup Exec that you are using ?

Regards
