Back up software

I need to purchase Back-Up software for an odd arrangement of servers and don't understand what I need to pruchase.  My arrangement is as follows:

Windows 2003 64 bit with the tape drive - need to back-up files on this machine.
Windows 2003 32 NAS - need to back up files on this
Windows 2000 Domain server - need to back up files and the network set-up of users and computers.

I was told that I need Back Up exec, one remote agent, and one active directory.  Does that sound right?

I'd say Backup Exec base serial plus TWO Remote Agents plus the AD Agent

Even though you cannot install the Agent on your NAS, you still need the serial installed on your media server to be legal

You can also download and run the License Assessment Tool.  See

I'd agree with the base serial and the two remote agents, but as for the AD agent, you need to decide whether you need the extra functionality it provides.
