Backing up job selections in BE 10.1

I'm trying to find the proper way to make a backup of all my backup jobs/selections. Just in case my backup server fails and I have to recreate it from scratch I don't want to have to redo my backup jobs and selections as there are many. I tried using copy but all I see that it does is make a dup of the existing.

Do I just make a copy of the folder they reside in? Whats the proper method?

You just need to copy the data and catalogs folder in order to save the job configuration.

the path of the data and catalogs folder is mentioned in ths document:  you need to stop all the Backup exec services and sql service so as to copy the data and catalog folder.
