Backing up particular files scattered throughout.

I would like to back up files with a particular extension.  There are files in various directories throughout the drive and ONLY want to back up these files and keep the directory structure.  Is there a way to do this in Backup Exec?  I don't want to tag all the files cause that would take hours.  I would like Backup Exec to start looking in a particular area and backup all the necessary files it finds in all the subdirectories.  Hope I can get a quick and easy way to do this!

Under advanced file selection in the job you should be able to choose only the file types you want to back up.

You can use wildcards to select the files that you want.  See the document below
