I am trying to setup new jobs on a replacement server and when I look at the job log it shows 0 files in 80 directories etc. I seems to be backing up the directory structure but no the files within. I did notice that if the file is in the root of the share then it gets backed up. Its just anything inside a folder. I did go to the Backup job properties...View format section...Adavanced button and the entries are listed below. I am running Backup Exec 10d on a Windows XP machine. Also, I backed up about 160 GB of data and it took almost 30 hours. Does that sound right? Any way to speed things up?
