Hello. It is my first time here and I am not really sure that I have picked the correct area for my question. Therefore, I aplogize and I am asking administrators to move my thread, if this is needed.
I need to re-install Backup Exec 10d on a mechine but I really cannot find its key anymore. The local dealer in my country (Netherlands) has advised that the only solution for me is to buy another license. However, I have found some tutorials on the internet where different product keys can be recovered from Windows Registry. I have applied some guides and also tried these serial key tools but couldn't manage to locate my license in Windows Registry.
Therefore, I have decided to ask this question on this forum as it seems to be the most relevant comunity right now. Do you have any suggestions which could help me in locating my license key?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Edit: Sorry. I forgot to mention what OS I am using: Microsoft Windows Server 2003

Hi
You have taken backup of C drive in past with your backupexec , Particularly this location C-Document Setting-All user -Application data -Symantec-in that look for beserum.xml
If you have that file then you can just import back that file ,while installing backup exec & you will get all your licenses
So verify if you have taken backup of C drive with backup exec in past
Thanks
