Backup Exec 12.5 - Email alerts on Inventory

Hello everyone,

I'm running backup for an external customer running Backup Exec 12.5. The people in charge of switching tapes on a daily basis have been slacking in doing so, and so I wanted to do a daily Inventory after midday to check if the tapes have been switched. What I'm wondering if there's any way to automatically check if the drive is empty or not(the job ejects the tape after completion), and send an email if it is.
Completion vs Failure-filter won't work since the inventory-job completes as success when the drive is empty aswell..

Any help, or possible other 3rd party software and scripts much appreciated.

Hello,
Right click on the Slot and click on Inventory, schedule the job if required and check the notification box.

Thanks, but that's just the point. This will send a "Alert: Success"-mail each time regardless of the drive-state. What I'm trying to acclompish is to send the mail only if the state of the drive is "Empty" after inventory is run. I realize SBE can't filter like this, but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
