Backup Exec 12.5: GRT for Exchange against Exchange 2007 SP2 on Windows 2008: Error: V-79-57344-4615

Hi folks,
I've got a very special problem.

We have two servers:
Backup Exec Server with Backup Exec 12.5 SP2 and all hotfixes under Windows 2008 X64 R1
Exchange 2007 SP2 on Windows 2008 X64 R1

I've created a backup2disk job which should backup up all emails from the exchange by GRT. I've installed the cdo and the exchange management shell on the backup server.

I always get an error (job incompleted) with the code V-79-57344-4615 which tells me, that I did not install the correct version of cdo. The installed one is the newst version from microsoft.
When I try to install the hotfix (http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/294622.htm) I get an error and the setup aborts. It tells me, that I should check the setup log.

When I deactivate GRT, everything works fine!

So I have two questions:
1. Where do I find the setup.log? (I did not find it in the backup exec folder under program files)
2. is there a solution for GRT?

Exchange 2007 SP2 has not been qualified for support by Backup Exec yet and therefore is not listed in the Software Compatibility List (http://support.veritas.com/docs/307063)

I gather this is currently being tested within Symantec.
