Backup Exec 12.5 Sicherung SQL 2008

Ich habe eine Frage betreffend der Version Backup Exec 12.5, wir müssen eine komplette SQL 2008 Datenbank sichern wie auch ein SQL Cluster, ist dies mit diesem Produkt möglich?

SQL 2008 is compatible with BE12.5.

Hi Ploch,

I think you're asking whether or not you can use BE 12.5 to backup an SQL 2008 cluster? Yes you can.

However, there is a configuration wizard you need to run in order to do so. Simply installing the RAWS agent on each node and then selecting the SQL instance won't back it up if the nodes fail over.

Running the cluster wizard sets it up that you see the virtual node. THIS is where you would want to select your SQL server instance, as no matter which node is active, this will always be backed up.
