Backup Exec 12.5 & VCB: AOFO Issue

We are using Backup Exec 12.5 (lastet Updates installed) with VMware Consolidated Backup 1.5 Update 2 and the Integration Module for Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Servers.

In Backup Exec the pre command is configured as followed:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Consolidated Backup Framework\backupexec\pre-backup.bat" backup_job01 "Win2k3-Server"
The Snapshot will be mounted to d:\VCBmount\
Until here everything is working fine.

Backup Exec now has to backup up the following:

d:\VCBmount\Win2k3-Server\letters\D\*.* /SUBDIR
After backing up those files I always get the following error:

Sichern- Win2k3-Server - AOFO: Initialisierung fehlgeschlagen: "D:". Advanced Open File Option verwendet: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
V-79-10000-11226 - VSS Snapshot-Fehler.
In Backup Exec there is no AOFO Option activated.

if you are using the Backup Exec VMware Agent (AVVI) you should not have to specify pre and post commands as the Backup Exec agent should use the required commands in teh background to inistiate teh snap through VCB.

Also the AOFO error message can appear when your selection list includes something that would normally be protected with a VSS writer so you don't have to have open file enabled to actually see that message.

1. We are not using AVVI.
2. If I am right VCB creates somehow a junction point to the created vmware snapshot. Backup Exec is now trying to create a VSS of this junction point.

Right after the mounting there is generated a error log in the Windows event manager:
VSS 12293:
