Backup Exec 12.5 and Overland VTL disk staging

I am managing Backup Exec 12.5, and we are using an Overland VTL for disk staging.

I am new to this, how do I clean up the staging area, since we are running out of disk

space? It does do library maintenance, but I am unfamiliar with library maintenance?
