Backup Exec 12.5 doesn´t backup *.dat files

Hi all,

I have a BEWS 12.5 running on a windows 2003 server, and BEWS is not backing up the *.dat files on one of my machines. (Is the only one with this type of files)

I´ve read http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/259152.htm , and done, but, it seems that the problem is different.

Any one with this problem?

Hi,

Have you checked to make sure there isn't an active exclusion in your selection list for the *.dat files? If there is, remove it...it should solve the issue.
