I wonder if anybody can help me, it may just be a simple answer of "Not possible" but I hope not...
Our current setup is Exchange 2007 and we have 2 backup servers that can use backup to disk folders for GRT backups of the Public Folder database.
My problem is, when I restore a Public Folder from Backup Exec 12D or 2010, it doesn't restore the previous alias, any extra email addresses it used to have other than the policy ones or Send As permissions and also hides the folder from the GAL. All emails inside the Public Folder and the tree are restored correctly and a "successful backup" message is returned in Backup Exec. I cant seem to find anything about this online, so wonder if this is natural or an obvious error I'm making?
Any more information required, please let me know.
