Backup Exec 16 changing service account

Hi everyone, I have a Windows server wich is part of a domain and and when I run jobs running the services as the local Administrator account I get errors in the backups saying that it needs to be changed to the Administrator account of the domain.

When I change the services accounts for the Admin of the domain and I restart the services everything seems to go find but as soon as I try to start a backup job it stays in the "Active: Discovering Resources" forever.

If you guys have any idea what it could be feel free to tell me thanks alot.

Hi, If you're changing the service account details through Services Manager, then rather open beutility.exe and change the details there. At a minimum the BESA needs Domain Admins rights. Thanks!

I did it with beutility and BESA and it won't work neither thank you
