Backup Exec 2010 R2 - Remote Agent - Mise à jour - Prêt à appliquer les mises à jour de 1.

Bonjour,

J'ai 15 serveurs Windows auxquels j'ai poussé le REMOTE AGENT.

Backup Exec m'indique toujours que j'ai 2 machines qui requiert une mise à jour.

Je pousse l'installation qui se déroule très bien, puis je redémarre le serveur à la fin.

Le problème est que j'ai toujours les 2 messages suivants sur 2 machines uniquement (alors que sur toutes les autres machines la mise à jour à très bien passé) :

[NomServeur] Prêt à appliquer les mises à jour de 1.

En résumé: La mise à jour s'installe bien (apparemment) mais la gestion centralisée demande toujours de faire la mise à jour, c'est très étrange.

Avez vous déjà vu ce problème ?

Check the version of remote agent for the servers which are in question.

It could be that the remote agent did not install correctly during the push.  In the Agents directory under the BE installation directory, you should see both the RAWS32 and RAWSX64 directories.  Copy the appropriate directory over to your problem servers and run Setup to install the remote agents.

Hi, and thank you for your support.

We have already copied the RAWS32 from the BEX media server on the remote Windows server and installed by running the setup locally.

After installation, the server is rebooted.

Back tu the Media Server, the wizard of BEX say always that the Agent need an update on these machine.

The problem is not solved by a local installation of RAW - so the problem stay open.

Did you check the version of remote agent? Compare the version of remote agent of 

backup exec server with the remote server, if both the version are same then there 

is nothing to worry. To check the version right click on beremote.exe and then click on

details. On Media server beremote is located at X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec  

and on the remote server the location is X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Raws.
