Hi,

I'm using Backup Exec 2010 R3 for backup my exchange 2010. Last week we created Exchange dag with another Exchange 2010 server and dag is working without any errors. After creating the dag i was not able to see the information store by browsing my exchange server. But i can brows the "Data Availability Group" and perform the backup. But i need to backup my exchange server information store without going through the DAG. both exchange server installed same version of the remote agent. Pls help me on this.

To back up the individual servers in a DAG, you can make backup selections from Favorite Resources, Domains, or User-defined Selections.

You may try the steps mentioned in the following Technote :

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH136312

Hope this helps.

I think once the databases are configured in a DAG, we will have to backup them up via DATABASE AVIALABLITY GROUP NODE itself...you can refer to the technote below..

http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO24102

Hope this helps .

Hi,

when i drill down via  Favorite Resources, Exchange information store is not listed. all the other elements (share folders, hard disk partitions and etc.) are shown. So what can be the problem?

Hi,

Once the dag created, isn't it possible to backup individual exchange servers?
