Backup Exec 2010 R3 Installation problem

Hi,

I am trying to install the above mentioned version on a Windows 2008 Server. It is an update, R2 is currently running on that machine.

During the installation step "Environment check" it displays "this program cannot display the webpage" and gives some hints concerning connection to the internet. It won't go any further, I have to stop the installation at this point.

We do have connection to the internet, every other webpage can be displayed without any problems. I opened all ports on our firewall and logged the traffic: no issues there. I tried with and without a proxy - no change.

Any help is highly appreciated.

I'm encountering the exact same problem, only on a Small Business Server 2003 machine.  Were you able to find a solution?

the problem was solved in downloading the installation files once more. Then it worked.

Hello Frauke,

Thank you, that worked for us too!  Ended up using the single download, as opposed to the 4 disc download.
