Hi all,

We are running Backup Exec 2010 R3 with 1 Centralize Management Server and 8 Media Server.

All was running fine till last night some of the jobs failed because of the agent cannot be reach.

I tried to remove, reinstall the agent, even modifed the regedit to disabled security but cannot get the remote server to etablish trust relationship with the media server.

I also tried numerous reset all the servers but still not working.

Please help me!

...is port 10000 open on any firewall running? Have you made sure that any AV running on that server isn't blocking the comms?

Thanks!

Would not recommend using the registry key to disable security.

What error are you receiving when you try to establish a trust relationship ? Also, when you push a remote agent, the trust relationship is automatically established.

How many remote servers are being affected ? If there are multiple, you possible would have to remove the existing .crt and .key files.
