Backup Exec 2010 SBS Licensing problem

We have an SBS 2003 Server and we want to replace it with an SBS 2011 and we have a problem with Backup Exec Licenses..

We originally purchased Backup Exec SBS 12, which was upgraded to 12.5 (which is installed on the old SBS 2003) . The license was renewed to BACKUP EXEC 2010 FOR WINDOWS SBS WIN PER SERVER. We never installed it to the old SBS2003 due to the fact that we were in the process of replacing it .

We try to install the BE 2010 SBS in the new SBS2011, but we don't have a license key ..

Through licensing.symantec.com, we can download the product's software, but when we try to get a license key we get an "NNL No Key Registration"

We tried to submit a case through customer support, but for some reason our country is not listed (Greece).

Any suggestions ?

You can install BE for the time being without the licenses...just dont enter any & proceed next ( this will install a fully functional BE for an evaluation period ) & then you can obtain licenses...

Contact Customer Care from http://www.symantec.com/business/support/assistance_care.jsp for licenses

We already done this (installed it without using any keys - and we are at the 15th day of the trial)

As far as the link is concerned...

Unfortunately our country (GREECE) is not an option in the drop down menu ...

So i don't understand how this would be useful to us ...

I understand Greece is not present in that list, however had shared that with you if you could contact any neighboring country (unfortunately, we do not have phone numbers for almost every country now)

Also, eval period lasts for 60 days...so you still have good 45 days to go

Well, Italy, Israel or Russia are not exactly neighboring countries, and i assume that their help desk is talking their native languages ...

Isn't there a way, to submit an email or a form to symantec support in order to solve our issue ?

Customer Care for any country would offer you English Support as well...Even if you call in Tech Support, we can route your call over to the Customer Care team...

Try emailing - license@symantec.com
