Hello- I have a server that was upgraded from Windows 2000 server to Windows 2003. For my disaster recovery testing, I have to successfully restore this server on a new set of drives. I have done this in the past with Windows 2000 w/o issue. Recently, I did this with Windows 2003 Server and I did not have a good result. This is the procedure I followed:
Installed Windows 2003 into the default install location
Setup same password for Administrator
installed BE 9.0 in a different location
cataloged the tape
restored (checking that this was an authoritative restore) files in winnt, program files, root of C, documents/settings and system state files
rebooted after the restore
After the reboot, I got a NTOSKernel error. Did I do something wrong?
