Did you mean:

Move LiveUpdate D Drive

Hi

In regards to an old thread which I can't reply to:
https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=115&message.id=8675#M8675

Not being able to move the LiveUpdate downloads folder to somewhere else is a serious bummer I have to say for those of us with limited C drive partition space (which is most Dell servers it seems).... Is there anyway this can be logged as a feature request.... even as a registry hack please?

I looked for LiveUpdate Admin, I noticed the last version was apparently in 2005:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/1999052915222048?OpenDocument&seg=hm&lg=...

Is this correct?

As the version of LiveUpdate Admin, that appears to be correct.

Thanks blipsey....

I tell you, I wish we stuck with the update veritas originally supplied, it was so much better, you didn't have to refresh every 10 minutes when it times out, it was like Windows Update and so much more flexible and reliable... And I would not have had this problem at all.

Anyway....

From what I know about LiveUpdate, this is an integrated product (integrates with other Symantec products)..

If I goto:

I do not see the LiveUpdate product. I suspect if I log it as BackupExec, the issue will probably get routed to ex Veritas programmers (who are now Symantec staff)/project managers who equally despise this application forced on them by Symantec, and will consequently ignore it...:) So where can I do I log this if liveupdate is not in the drop down list of the link you supplied? :)
