Backup Exec 9.0 and Quantum VS80 drive

I am building a test environment with Backup Exec 9.0 and Quantum VS80 tape drive. When I load a tape, which has information backup up in our production system which uses a Storagetek L180, and inventory it...it says it is a blank media. I am positive there is information on it. Any Ideas why this would be the case?

What kind of drive is in the Storagetek?

It is possible that the drives may not be compatible.

Check if the media is compatible with new drive.Also check the hardware compatibility list link below for BE 9.x
