Continuous failed backup

On our backup system running 9.1 I continuously get the failed back error 0xa0008492 database query failure. After looking up this problem on the Veritas site, I found a fix to the problem, which was changing the value in the . I also freed space on the drive that was causing the error.
However I continue to get this error. I have tried everything that I know to stop this error and get a continous back up without failure. If anybody has any other solutions please POST.

Thanks everyone

Hi,

Ensure that Master backup is being backed up using full backup.

Please refer to the following technotes:

- "Final error: 0xa0008492 - Database Query Failure" is returned when backing up Microsoft SQL filegroups.
http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/268220.htm

- "Database Query Failure. See the job log for details" (a0008492 HEX or e0008492 HEX) is reported during a restore of a SQL database
http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/262416.htm

Make sure that you are not using AOFO in order to backup SQL backups. In order to isolate the issue, perform backups of one database at a time and verify the databse on which the backup is failing. Run DBCC on that databse and verify the results.

We hope this will help.

Please update us on the issue so that If the issue still persists we can troubleshoot the issue further.

If we do not receive your intimation within two business days, this post would be presumed to be answered and will be marked as assumed answered and archived.

Thanks.
