Hello

 I have a little problem with this 2 softwares

On an Exchange server 2007 running Win2k3 SP2 (x64) when I try to launch a snapshot from CPS, it failed.

When I try to sav system state with ntbackup it failed.

I have tried with stopping VSS service, Symantec VSS provider, register or grant access in dcom console, a solution which consist to register again some dll refering to VSS services but all failed.

when I start the server I have some error like this

Application event log :

Volume Shadow Copy Service information: The COM Server with CLSID {790f2886-9889-4c99-8ef5-531add05d044} and name SW_PROV cannot be started. [0x80070005]

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error creating the Shadow Copy Provider COM class with CLSID {790f2886-9889-4c99-8ef5-531add05d044} [0x80070005].

 System event log :

The launch and activation security descriptor for the COM Server application with CLSID
{56BE716B-2F76-4DFA-8702-67AE10044F0B}
 is invalid. It contains Access Control Entries with permissions that are invalid. The requested action was therefore not performed. This security permission can be corrected using the Component Services administrative tool.

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{790F2886-9889-4C99-8EF5-531ADD05D044}
 to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18).  This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

In registry it refer to C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Backup Exec System Recovery\Shared\Drivers\SymSnapProviderx64.dll

The SID refers to the Domain Admin group who already have all permissions.

Any idea ?
