Backup Exec Job Engine service terminated unexpectedly

hp StorageWorks SSL 1016 tape autoloader
Iomega NAS 400r
I backup to disk during the week and then backup to tape over the weekend. when my tape jobs runs I get this error in the event log

Event ID 7034
The Backup Exec Job Engine service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).

When my scheduled job runs on Saturday, the job engine stops and all jobs fail to run after that.
If I run the job manually it works fine.

I am going to install BE10 SP 1 later today, but from reading other posts this does not seem to help. Any other suggestions?

Hello,

The Backup Exec Job engine service may fail intermittently due to reasons like third party applications running, lower MDAC components or service credentials issues.

Following steps will help to resolve the issue:
1. As a preliminary step, apply latest MDAC component (2.8 SP1). You can download it from the following URL: http://www.microsoft.com/data

Also please run MDAC Component checker and check whether there are any mismatched files from the link below:

2. Disable, anti- virus software running. This is for test purpose only. Verify the result.
