Backup Exec Remote NDMP

Hi,
we are migrating from BakBone to Backup Exec r12.5.
Currently (in BakBone) we have only 1 tape drive (LTO4) in a library - this tape is directly connected (Point to Point) to the Netapp Filer via Fiber Channeth
this single tape drive is also used to backup the LAN servers altough it is not directly connected to the backup server - this works with 3-way NDMP as the backup server writes to the filer using NDMP - which then writes the data to Drive.

is there a way to run similar configuration in Backup Exec?

we now that we can attach the tape library to the backup server and use Remote NDMP - but since most of our information (85%) is stored on the Netapp it makes no sense and we affraid it will cost with performance degradation.

any other solution requires adding Tape Drive or Fiber Switch and it is costly.

BE12.5 supports via NDMP the following:
remote, 3-way, and direct attach. 

I think you are covered here. 
Previous versions of BE only supported remote ndmp.
