Backup Exec Template/Scheduling; Feature Suggestion

I have not upgraded to R2 yet, so I don't know if this has been added...

But I would like to see the date schedule split from the job template.  I run multiple jobs for different purposes (some are across a wan, and fail at times, and i don't want local jobs to fail as a result), and they all run on the same dates.  They do however have different start times.  

So I would like to see it changed where the Template has the job specifications, the Selection List has the selections, the Date list has the dates to run a job, and when you create a new job from a template, you select Selection List, Date List, and specify Start Time/Job start leeway.  This provides the most flexibility with least redundancy in creating jobs.

What about policies where one template runs on one day, and another template runs on other days?

Your suggestion works only where all the jobs within one policy run at the same time or sequentially.

...Assuming you mean when using a policy.
