Backup Exec Upgrade

Hello,
I've been looking at upgrading backup Exec.  I am currently on version 12.0 (oddly in my licensing I can find it for the agents and exchange for 12 but the main license is for 11).  Either way all licenses are under a maint. plan.  I believe I know all I need for the upgrade procedure but need to figure out how to get my 11d key upgraded to 12.5.  It's actually working on 12.0 (so I'm thinking it's been updated once I just don't have the information).  I tried pulling the keys from 12.0 and using them for the upgrade but backup exec doesn't like them.  Is there a way I can get them upgraded with only the keys (seems we are unable to find our serials for them).

I believe it should allow you to initially upgrade without a license key ie in Eval mode which should be valid for 60 days . You can then use the licensing portal or contact symantec licensing team to get the licenses.

Visit  https://licensing.symantec.com/acctmgmt/index.jsp and pull out all the license keys.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I thought I tried the licensing portal part yesterday but will try again today (after Symantec is done with their maint. on it).  I'll let you know the outcome, the upgrade process doesn't look like it will be an issue but getting these licenses straight sure is giving me grief!
