Backup Exec WIN 2010 R3 - Dedup Erase Jobs Fail with "Communication Stalled"

After upgrading from WIN 2010 R2 to WIN 2010 R3 my DeDup erase jobs fail with "Communications Stalled". Since my Dedup folder is now low on space Dedup backups won't run.  I've been on the phone with Symantec Tech support for over a week now and it's at the point with them where they are not even returning my calls.  Has anyone else experienced this, Any suggestions?

Hello,

Are you trying to run the erase operation on same files more than once?

If so, is the job completed successfully when you run it for the first time?

The erase job will eventually time out on so a staus of "recovered" but the orginal item that I was trying to erase will still be there. I also tried the erase on different items with the same results

Have you tried pausing and unpausing the server?

1.  Select "Devices" tab in Backup Exec
2.  Right-click on the server name and select "Paused" wait for few seconds and "Unpause" the server.

Even if the job completes successfully, the request will not be processed immediately. 

All the requests on dedup folder will be processed onto the database only twice a day. (12:20 AM 12:20 PM)
