Backup Exec backup of remote Windows 2008 enterprise server is very slow through the agent.  It averges 250MB/min compared to remote Windows 2012 server which averages 1,300MB/min.

any suggestion?

Check and make sure that any AV installed isn't perhaps blocking the beremote.exe service.

Backup speeds also depend on the number of files being backed up. Lots of smaller filers = slower speeds.
