Backup Exec on Windows Server 2022

Can Backup Exec 22 be installed on Windows Server 2022 Essentials? Any limitations?

(i did check the compatibilty page and there is no reference to 2022 Essentials...)

As Server 2022 is not listed in the compatibility guide, it means that it has not been tested.  If you use it and run into trouble, then there would be no support.

Thanks. I wasn't worried about Server 2022 Standard or Server 2022 Datacenter (both are listed). Server 2022 Essentials is the one missing from the list. Since that's a more obscure OEM only SKU from Microsoft, I was wondering if the omission was intentional or not, and if anyone had any experience with it. (The lack of response seems to imply there's no experience out there...)

I just verified this internally and we have not qualified Windows Server 2022 Essential and therefore it is correctly not listed in the SCL.
This is because as you already mentioned above a more obscure OEM only SKU from MS and the availability of the installation media itself.
